The Serpentine Has Risen - Proscriptor's Solo Material

Proscriptor McGovern has a solo project, simply titled Proscriptor, of which he has four releases.

From 1995, The Venus Bellona, was released through Cruel Moon International, a division of Cold Meat Industry. A collection of 20 songs, most of which are very eclectic, appear on this record, including a cover of "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls.

In 1997, he released The Serpentine Has Risen through Dark Age Productions. This collection of 8 songs, which vary from ambient, electonic, new age, and progressive rock includes a Styx cover (Castle Walls) and a Cliff Richards cover (Devil Woman).

In 2004, the Thoth Music(k) EP was released through Tarot Productions. This 7" contained two cover songs, one by The Tubes (Epod No Sknup Etihw) and the other by Aphrodite's Child (The 4 Horsemen).

In 2008, 726 was unleashed, also through Tarot Productions. Together with Vincent Rossi (who contributed guitar work to "Tara"), this collection of 12 songs was more of an electronic/ambient trip.

The only release still currently available is 726 through Tarot Productions. Future releases are possible but nothing is set right now due to Proscriptor's work in ABSU. You can find out more here and here.
