SEVEN INCHES OF DEATH is a tribute to the glorious days of Death Metal in the late 1980s and early 1990s when 7“s were a mere way to express musical achievements.

This book contains more than 150 contributions from individuals being members of nowadays well-known bands and combos that have remained in the depths of the underground. All of them toldl the stories behind their very own 7“s releases... expect statements about why those releases came to life in the first place, about recording sessions, about how those famous covers were made. Additionally, there are tons of images from those covers, flyers, photographs, etc. all held in an old-school black n´white/ cut n´paste design!

Equimanthorn will re-release their first demo, "Entrance To The Ancient Flame" on CD in a remastered format through Frost And Fire Records (Greece).

25th Anniversary Edition of "Barathrum: V.I.T.R.I.O.L." Available For Pre-Order

The Crypt is proud to announce the 25th Anniversary reissue LP of ABSU's debut masterpiece Barathrum: V.I.T.R.I.O.L. Supplying the original DAT tape by Proscriptor himself, this ultimate edition of cult, 90's Mythological Occult Metal has been newly mastered for LP. Quotes Proscriptor in regards to the sound of the new master: "I just scrutinized the album in its entirety and it is nothing more than pulverizing! Barathrum: V.I.T.R.I.O.L has never sounded ANY better." Rather than cluttering this reissue with non-essential bonus tracks, we decided to keep the album as a standalone and to not interrupt the flow and sheer power of the music. This LP will feature the original Osmose Productions band photo cover, which previously was only available in the 2010 box set.

To retain the classic feel of the original 1993 release, this gatefold edition is designed in the spirit of the original LP layout, with attention to detail, even down to the original typeface!

Strictly limited to 500 copies, this offering is presented in a 350-gram gatefold jacket with three color configurations: 150 copies on traditional black vinyl, 150 copies on blood-red vinyl and 100 copies on clear/crimson smoke-hybrid.

Reissues of "The Circle Of Agurak" and "The Venus Bellona" Coming Soon

Proscriptor and Equitant have signed with Old Captain/Faust Records for new editions of Proscriptor's solo release "The Venus Bellona" and Equitant's solo release "The Circle of Agurak". Release dates are not yet available.
